Carlos Lopez's Big West-Winning Homer



With the Titans down 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth, Carlos Lopez delivers his second consecutive walk-off homer in as many days, this time a three-run shot to give Fullerton a 7-5 victory over UC Irvine and outright title of the Big West Conference.

Titans Steal Win From Gauchos


Titans scored twice in the bottom of the ninth after giving up two runs in the top of the ninth. The tying run came in on a wild pitch and then Richy Pedroza drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly to deep center for a 4-3 victory over UC Santa Barbara.

Jake Jefferies' Natural Cycle



In the Titans' 11-6 victory over Pacific on Friday night, freshman second baseman Jake Jefferies went for the cycle, with a two-run single, two-run double, RBI-triple and a two-run homer.

Third National Championship: 1995

The Titans won their final 18 games, swept through the Baton Rouge Regional and the College World Series. Fullerton defeated USC, 11-5, in the championship game, capping off a 57-9 season, considered by consensus as the greatest in college baseball history.

Mark Kotsay, the team's star sophomore center fielder and closer, was named the College World Series Most Outstanding Player.

The Titans celebrate their Super Regional victory and then gather around coach Dave Serrano to discuss the tasks ahead. A special appearance by Jon Wilhite, less than two months from the tragic car accident that nearly killed him, made the moment all the more inspirational.

Second National Championship: 1984

Capping off a school-record 66-win season, the Titans once again emerged from the loser's bracket to win the College World Series, beating Texas and former major leaguer Greg Swindell in the title game, 3-1.

First National Championship: 1979

In only their fifth season in Division I, the Titans advanced to the College World Series and emerged from the loser's bracket to win their first national championship, defeating Arkansas in the final game, 2-1.

Daniel Renken's 3-Pitch Inning

Withe the Titans up, 3-0, in the third inning, starter Daniel Renken needed just three pitches to dispatch Louisville in Fullerton's eventual 12-0 win in Game 1 of the Super Regional.
